What is DIM?

DIM stands for Diindolylmethane, which is a food-based substance derived from cruciferous vegetables. We can get DIM from eating cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, brussels sprouts and cabbage. But with today’s trends of nutrients declining in our soils and vegetables, it is beneficial for us to supplement with DIM to help metabolise/breakdown these nasty toxins and hormones! DIM stimulates the production of detoxifying enzymes and protects against carcinogenic effect of pesticides and other toxins.

DIM will also help with estrogen breakdown, which for females helps with healthier hormone profile, breast, endometrial and cervical tissue.
For men helps with better testosterone vs estrogen levels, and healthier hormone profile.
This breakdown of estrogen can also benefit us with burning fat. Estrogen is directly associated with obesity in our population, and so by supplementing DIM to rid estrogens and its metabolites from our body. We are able to manage a healthier weight and support more fat burning!
